Oh that is the bronze color rotary one. The aqua & cream looks more similar in style to a Singer 500.though not a slant needle.just regular low shank foot. Do you have the Free Westinghouse now that your Mom had? The one in the photo posted is very nice looking. There is one on E-bay just like it in a case though not a cabinet. Scala sans caps bold font free download I am not sure what to do.I like it, I REALLY like her.BUT I Do NOT need her.hubby says what are you going to do with her.just sit & look at it?NO she would go to work just like the other sewing girls!

Did you know the sm was made in Rockford, ILL? Priceless info on the web for the Free Westinghouse history. Did you ever have a FW bronze sm again for yourself? It is also a pretty neat sm!

Feb 25, 2014 - If you have a machine manufactured by New Home or Free Westinghouse and want to know the year of manufacture send the serial number to.

Looks nice & sturdy.one on E-bay even has bottonholer.(urgh took me 3 tries to type button.I need coffee). I bet your Mom wished she had kept it after being disappointed in the Singer upgrade. That seems to happen fairly often. Hmmm.I just looked at that bronze/gold FW she is a beauty! Ut oh I think I like her too.

Very clean, shiny, well taken care of.lots of accessories. Very sweet looking/regal even.sense of elegant simplicity to her.

I never owned one but when ever I see them it brings back memories. I used to have thrift stores all around me in the Minneapolis area and 'OH' could you find some cool machines. It was a lot of fun, had 4 301's, a 201, just to mention a few I found at the thrift stores. I found another 201 and had my girlfriend pick that up. If I would have found a FWestinghouse it would be gone. I sold most of my machines when we moved, space and I was done playing with them. Can only use so many machines at one time and I went overboard.

I had more fun finding them, cleaning them up, figuring out how to make them stitch and then re-selling. Pretty much broke even but hubby worked nights and I kept busy!!!
