Onimusha is back baby! Capcom surprised everyone with the announcement of a remaster of PS2 classic Onimusha: Warlords. Today Capcom made a surprise announcement revealing Onimusha: Warlords, a remaster for the original PS2 game from 2001. The game will launch on January 15th, 2019 for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

The original Onimusha: Warlords version was also ported to Microsoft Windows, although this version was only released in Asia and Russia. A remaster for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam is scheduled to be released in January 2019. As a matter of fact, when I saw the press release in my inbox, I literally screamed. The game will cost only $19.99. It will receive a physical release for PS4 and Xbox One in North America, while Europe, Switch, and PC will only get a digital downloads.
