Improving average officers into above average officers and above average officers into godly status. My own take for PUK edition, on how I try to improve my officer stats, getting them from B to A and above, or from C to A: 1) Via research upgrades - simplest and most effective way. Personally, I will select personal favorites out of all my officers, and try to get a few into all rounders, A and above in everything (from Spears to Navy).

Then I choose one or two honorable mentions and let them get one upgrade in one category (Spears, Pikes, Bow, Calvary or Navy). Some of the officers I choose are historical famous ones, but some are those that I just like personally. Drawback is you cannot research S class. 2) Spear / Pike / Navy Generals without S class.

From what I have seen, there are no Bow (eg Zhang Ren, Yan Yan) or Calvary Generals (Xiahou Dun) without S class.
