The Witcher Insert Bonus Game Content Disk
I originally wanted the digital version but that meant having to DL 30GB+ amount of data. That's about 25% of my monthly limit.

So I bought TW1 Hard copy from a games shop yesterday, disk is mint, installed correctly then when I go to play 'please insert original DVD of the witcher'. 18 Dec The Game folder should have 2 folders with 1 iso (DVD1 & DVD2), the witcher enhanced edition skidrow insert bonus game content disc.
So I purchased disc copy instead and it is fully installed into XB1. I would prefer to have digital version. If I purchase the digital version (when it goes on sale), will it recognize that the game is already installed and give me thumbs up OR will XB1 needlessly DL the entire 30GB+ worth of DL?

Anyone have insights? May I ask why you want to go digital when you already have the game on disc? In the time the game goes on sale (in case it ever does), your return value for your disc copy will probably be lower and in the end you lose money off it. So again, why would you want to do this? The digital version won't give you any performance advantage and in case the Xbox Live servers are in trouble you are on the safer side with the disc version.
Not trying to keep you from doing it, I'm just curious. Here's a question. If we already own the disc version, but have, say, lost the disc, do we actually have to purchase the digital version? Or can we just download it? I don't see how one could simply download it. I am quite sure one would have to repurchase the disc or purchase the digital version. If they stuck with their initial plan for the xbox it would have worked exactly like steam does.
You buy the physical copy, it activates against your account, you never need the disc again. But you know, disc's are precious to people apparently. Here's a question. Cara buat windows bajakan jadi asli.

No in that MS wanted you to basically verify it everyday instead of just once at initial installation.
So basically as soon as it didn't do the 24 hr check you could no longer play it even offline. That was the problem for most. Had MS made the check like once every 30 days I don't think you would have seen such a huge negative reaction. To make it once every 24 hrs and tell people that they couldn't even play offline was a little much. I have used Steam personally since its initial release and it is really the only way I buy games anymore on the PC. Awesome system.
