Hence the soul should even discard this and reach a stage that it has no influence whatsoever from gunas (called gunaateeta state) and all its thoughts are directed only towards Brahman. The manrtras in this homa are very explicit and are meditated upon to get rid of our egos (Rajas), which is the most disturbing factor in human life.
