Hi:) I need some help choosing a new Garmin watch. I am a runner and I also do multisports.
The important things for me are good battery life, steps & sleep tracking, waterproof, notification and music controls. I almost went for the 735xt but I'm kinda disappointed that it doesn't have a barometric altimeter so I began reconsidering. Also I am not sure about the 235 because it is an old model. My budget is not too high (can't afford the Fenix 5&3 models) and I want a watch that will last me a few good years. I also looked into the 935 and I can stretch my budget a bit to get it, but I am not sure if it's worth it. Thanks in advance • • • • •. I can't speak for the 735xt, I have not looked into that one at all.
But I can give some perspective on 235/645/935: 235 is a bit older. If you think you're going to use third party apps a lot (read: things from the connect iq store) then be aware that the 235 is not getting connect IQ 3.0. So it's not very future-proof when it comes to new third-party things there. Otherwise, decent watch.
But it's on the end of its support lifecycle. 645 v 935 comes down to mostly 3 differentiators: • battery life. 645 is a bit shorter. • multisport mode.
So between those three: • go with 235 if budget is most important • go with 645 if music is important • go with 935 if you can afford it edit: just re-read the title that it would be for non-music 645. 935 is the same price. Only draw for the 645 was the music itself.

I have tried XTinstall and XTsetup apps also, maybe i can install GMXT inside StyleTap, but had no luck. Anyway, if anyone has any luck with it, please post it here! And for testing.
(you can just simply uncompress the contents of the exe to a folder with eg. Total Commander).
So i ask them if we manage to add the missing libraries to styletap emulator, if it will work, and they answered that perhaps some libraries could work, but some other probably won't because of missing hardware. Well you can read all of this in the link above, this is just a summary.
So i manage to extract all of the files (including the libraries i think) in the Firmware of the Lifedrive and Palm TX devices. Here they are: Lifedrive firmware already extracted files: Palm TX firmware already extracted files: other irrelevant info [IRRELEVANT] The original firmware of the lifedrive can be download from the official HP/Palm site, i extracted the files from this stock firmware. The files from the Palm TX where extracted from a custom firmware, as never where released a firmware update for the TX. From this i downloaded the custom palm TX firmware and all of the tools to be able to extract the necessary files from the firmwares.
